Description
Anomaly #0002 is a prototype version of the NES Tetris (Japanese release, 1989). The game initially functions identically to standard Tetris, but includes anomalous blocks not possible to have been coded on hardware from that era.
The most notable of these are tetromino blocks that feature random photographic images plastered on their surfaces. These images reportedly vary with each playthrough. Very little is known about this anomaly, as the prototype has since been removed from circulation and erased from official company archives.
